About:

Dr. Joseph Breitman open Prosthodontics Limited, PC in 1979. He maintained a successful private prosthodontic practice for over 45 years while continuing a strong academic affiliation, having taught at both of his alma maters. Dr. Breitman currently is an Associate Professor at the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. He is a published author on topics in prosthodontics, and is sought after as a speaker, nationally and internationally.

In 2014 Dr. Breitman received the Private Practice Award from the American College of Prosthodontists.

Since he was eleven years old, Dr. Breitman has trained in Korean Martial Arts. In 1971, he was awarded a first dan black belt by the World TaeSooDo Association. After a hiatus during college and dental school, Dr. Breitman returned to training and was awarded a first dan black belt by the Kukkiwon (The Korean National Gym) in 1988. Continued diligence in training and teaching Taekwondo has enabled Dr. Breitman to rise to the high rank of seventh dan black belt from the Kukkiwon of the World Taekwondo Federation. As a volunteer, Dr. Breitman ran a Taekwondo program for the Huntingdon Valley Activities Association for many years. Dr. Breitman is also an avid amateur musician, playing bagpipes, flute and piccolo.

Dr. Breitman lives in Huntingdon Valley with his wife Barbara. They have three children.
